    Kinuhikari

    キヌヒカリ

    A short-grain cultivar bred at the national Hokuriku Agricultural Experiment Station (1988) from Koshihikari-derived lines. Its eating quality is on a par with Koshihikari; it is grown from Kantō and Hokuriku to Kinki, Chūgoku and Shikoku.
